carlos ramer

The Carlos Ramer Scholarship has been established in memory of the 2003 Monte Vista High School graduate, Carlos Ramer. Carlos was an exceptional MVHS varsity basketball player, an honor graduate, and went on to serve in the United States Air Force.

Carlos battled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and on September 3, 2018 we tragically lost a son, nephew, cousin, brother, husband, and friend. Though this scholarship however, his life and legacy will not be in vain.

in memoriam

We have created the Carlos Ramer Scholarship to honor his memory, work ethic, and academic achievements, in hopes that it will not only financially support a graduating senior at his Alma Mater Monte Vista HS, but will also bring awareness to his life and the honorable sacrifices he made for our country.

keeping his legacy alive

Our goal of $1000 will allow us to give TWO $500 scholarships to graduating seniors at Monte Vista High School in Spring Valley, CA. It will not only help our students in need, but will also keep the legacy of Carlos Ramer alive at his Alma Matter, Monte Vista High School and beyond.

If you can, please make a small donation.

In exchange for your support, Monte Vista HS and The Carlos Ramer Scholarship Foundation will provide the following.
